Welcome to Deer Hunt Manitoulin
We offer hunting on 268 acres near Tehkummah, in area 43B on Manitoulin Island. The property is safe, totally fenced and has clearly marked gravel roads making it convenient and easy for vehicles, trucks, and all terrain vehicles to access. There is an abundance of mixed hardwood forest, open fields and meadows, and many cedar clusters. Our tree stands and ground blinds are located near feeding stations, and we have plenty of acorns, nuts, and vegetation on the property to support deer habitat. We have plenty of deer, an excellent success ratio, and offer a knowledgeable guide to help you achieve success with your hunt.
Seasons
Archery: Open the first weekend in October until the Friday before the rifle hunt. Extended hunt takes place in December if applicable (as per MNR).
Rifle: Monday to Sunday held annually the third week in November.
Black Powder: First week in December for just about a week.
Location
We are located in Tehkummah, Ontario, on Manitoulin Island. Depending on the time of year of your hunt, Manitoulin is accessible by the MS Chi-Cheemaun ferry or by road access via the swing bridge in Little Current on the north eastern tip of the island. We are located 15 minutes from the docking station for the MS Chi-Cheemaun in South Baymouth and a half hour from Little Current.
